Bret Irvine and I have been discussing the need for a Harley Service Department that specializes and caters to the customer's performance needs. Bret is the Owner / General Manager of Smokin Harley Davidson. We both believe that HD customers are not getting the satisfaction that they desire when they have performance work performed at HD dealers. We also share the same belief that most dealers and independent bike shops, target BIG horse power numbers instead of targeting LARGE torque numbers located in the normal riding area of the RPM range. I have many customers that feel this way and have also expressed that they would like to have me to do their performance modifications on their bike, but they also have concerns of warranty issues being denied. Bret and I are currently developing performance kits that will target the customer's needs without voiding their warranty. Bret has hired me to perform and oversee their engine repairs, performance upgrades and dyno tuning.
You can now have performance work performed without the worries of warranty issues. You can contact RJ (Service Manager) at Smokin Harley Davidson to inquire about what performances upgrades that will be offered. He is currently developing a dyno graph catalog that the customer can use to decide which upgrades will work best for them. These dyno graphs will show the true results of modifications by comparing before and after results. RJ will also be available to help consult the customer and explain what the kits consist of, the price of the kits and what the customer can expect from the kits if installed on their bike. I will also be available for advise and explanation of performance upgrades.

BTW...Yes I will still be running my shop also.
We are currently experimenting with different cam, heads, and exhaust on the 2010 bikes and will be doing the same with the 2011 bikes also. I will be posting these kits on the website.
My 2010 Screamin Eagle 110 ci kit will be available through the Smokin HD Service Dept.
